Squeegee Pros is Certified as a "Great Place To Work"! Here's Why...

*If you saw an ad posted that directed you here,  we are hiring.

When you come in to our office for an interview, two things should be happening simultaneously:

1. You will be interviewed by one of our management staff.
2. AND you should be interviewing us as well!

A smart interviewee should be thinking about things like,
> How long have they been in business?
> What is the vibe like here?
> Do they seem to be a stable company?
> Do they appear to have their act together?
> Are the people here engaged and happy?
> Is the company organized, clean, and seem like a fun environment to work at?

So, what makes Squeegee Pros stand out among the rest?  What makes it the place you'd really like to work ?

I will have some of our great staff tell you.

What I like is that you can make your own schedule. So you pretty much get paid on how hard you work. The freedom to start as early as you want means you can finish early as well.   Jordan

I love working for Squeegee Pros because you can be your own person, you get to meet different people, and the work atmosphere is just terrific.   Jesse

I like working with Squeegee Pros because of the freedom and consistency. I get out what I put in. Plus the staff is laid back yet professional.   Kim

What I like most is being outside and window cleaning is just relaxing for me anyway. Promotion opportunities are available. Pay is good and extra work is usually available.   Antonio

I enjoy working on my own, being outdoors, and driving. This job includes all of these.   Tim

I like working for Squeegee Pros because we are all close like family. We come in and work hard but we have fun doing it. There are times when it's stressful but we work through those times as a team and we make the best of it.   April

Smart companies engage all of their associates in building the business, from idea creation though delivery. Ideas don't just come from the top-down; they also come from the bottom-up and from every other direction.

Everyone in the company feels that they own a piece of the action and are accountable for how the company performs. The inspiration for a company starts at the top, but good leadership drives that inspiration deep into the company by engaging people broadly in decision-making.

People are more than mechanical parts of the enterprise, and the more they are allowed to
participate, the better their business sensibilities.

I enjoy working at Squeegee Pros because A Hard Day's Work does not go unrewarded. Management does not have unreasonable demands. They seem to treat employees fairly. There seems to be good camaraderie among the employees. The customers are happy when you arrive and if you do a good job they're happy when you leave as well. Tips! Some may shy away from doing residential work because they feel that customers will be overly demanding but I personally have not found that to be the case at all.   Wes

As the residential supervisor, there has always been an emphasis on creating a strong Residential Team! We work great together and always have each other's backs. The best part is that everyone on the team is willing to help on days your behind, and do things together like Fantasy Football while eating Pizza after everyone finished work for the day, basically we've become a family which is what I most enjoy about working here!    James

What about Culture. It's probably a word you hear often if you follow blogs on entrepreneurship or business in general. But what is it exactly and how does Squeegee Pros participate in it?

"Culture guides discretionary behavior and it picks up where the employee handbook leaves off. Culture tells us how to respond to an unprecedented service request. It tells us whether to risk telling our bosses about our new ideas, and whether to surface or hide problems by communicating. Employees and technicians make dozens of decisions on their own every day, and culture is our guide. Culture tells us what to do when the President isn't in the room, which can be a lot of the time."    Jim DuBois, CEO

Universally, culture is about the people who make up the company and making sure they have a fun and productive working environment.
The workplace should not be something that people dread every day. Employees should look forward to going to their jobs and Squeegee Pros works hard to make this happen every single day.

In fact, you may have a hard time leaving because you enjoy the challenges, your co-workers, and the atmosphere. Jobs shouldn't provoke stress in staff. While the work may be difficult, the culture shouldn't add to the stress of the work. On the contrary, the culture should be designed to alleviate the work related stress.

This is why culture matters. Culture sustains employee enthusiasm hands down every time.

But there's more.
